Visiting instructor Rosemary Wells is traveling to Boulder once again to teach a class at Red House Farm!
This is a class that beginning and experienced felters alike can take, so we’re limited to 5 students per class in order to have enough one-on-one time with Rosemary. Come well rested and ready to learn!
Location: Red House Farm
Tuition: $50, materials and tools will be provided
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Animal Processing — Jeff Sanders (advanced signup required) – VERY LIMITED AVAILABILITY!
Join the Boulder Skills Foundation as we host Jeff Sanders, a Boulder local, who is renowned for his animal processing workshops. His classes pass on the age old knowledge of processing farm raised animals in a holistic and sustainable manner. Jeff teaches at numerous events annually throughout the western United States and even travelled to Australia this summer to instruct. This highly sought after experience is sure to raise your awareness of our connection to our food sources and will not only increase your knowledge and skill for processing an animal but will also open your palate to culinary delights that are rendered from the animal.

Fur, Branch, and Bone: Mapping the Story of Place
Presented by Carol Freya Soth and Christy Anne Nealy
Tuition: Sliding scale donation $20-$40 (All materials provided)
Time: 10am-1pm
Location: Boulder Community Center
Join us to experience the magic elixir of Stories of Place combined with the technique of art mapping to create your own personal and community art pieces. This workshop allows participants to explore their own relationships and stories with the landscape and create a cartographic record of that experience through intuitive collage, writing, and other mixed media.
Carol Freya Soth is an artist, storyteller and lover of the mythic who combines all three into her art and her teaching. Her work includes soulful collage, personal cartography, the Hero’s Journey and art mapping which provides a process for creating transformative art that enriches both students and teacher.
Christy Anne Neely is a visual artist and writer who frequently incorporates myth and wild archetype into her work. Her ramblings include artist residencies, workshops and storytelling performances where she integrates visual arts with storytelling and mythology.
